You should walk the other direction and pretend you saw nothing. The most common one she wears is her Cloak - as she made it to synergize with her weapon of choice - Vindictive Vines

Dark Beginnings
Nyx was revived in the fifth spring after the collapse, having died and been reborn just outside of what would eventually become the City Perimeter. Here, she would find a small - barely a village's worth of people who were living in the shadow of the traveler - nearly half of these folk were other 'risen' as they were called back then, a few Titans, a Warlock - and lastly - another Hunter.During these early days, she would adjust to being alive once more - her ghost, which she had named Momus, after a Greek Myth that she had overheard one of the villagers telling a story of - this is also where she got her own name, Nyx, from - Naming herself for the hunter's ability to become invisible through the embrace of the Void. After a while - she would find herself joining the other Risen as they scavenged through the nearby collapsed cities for any equipment they could find for themselves and their small group of protected people.During this time, she would work together with Momus to collect Titanium Rebar and forge herself Melee weapons that she would come to call her Storm Needles - an extension of herself and her first true weapons that allowed her to harness her own, and the other Risens' Arc Light as a weapon during their scavenging trips - they would find food, Glimmer, and even some weapons that they could arm the other villagers with.As she and the other Risen continued to survive and fight against the Fallen - otherwise known as the Eliksni - she would 'name' the other Risen that she had been working with.~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Zeus - the Thundercrash Titan was a hulking brute of a man - they spoke little, and preferred to let their actions speak for themselves.Hestia - The Solar Titan - A woman of even fewer words and harsher actions than Zeus. Solar Light could be such a healing force and yet - with her mastery over it it became an equally killing force.Dionysus - The Warding Titan - He was the one Nyx found herself enjoying the company of the most. He understood the void - Entropy - as a force that could be both good and evil - his shield would protect them all, and smite those that stood in his way.Hecate - The Warlock - She was a woman you never wanted to face in battle - unlike the titans, she never stuck to just one element of her power - switching back and forth on a whim to do what she needed in battle.Artemis - The Solar Hunter - Nyx's mentor in the ways of a hunter and their light. She preferred to use bows, as they were silent and easy to make ammo for.

Chaos Refined
Her routine - Scavenging, Fighting, Training, Repeat. It became second nature to simply follow this as she helped to protect the people of her Village. Protect the people she had fallen in love with protecting. She had even found herself love - Actual, true love in her mind... she had found this in a man named Timur - a lightless Exo that had found his way into their small village, and worked his way into her heart through his actions - he was kind to everyone in the village, a gunsmith by trade, and had even learned how to maintain the other Risens armor simply to spend time with Nyx.They had a few happy years together - ones where she had a new routine with Timur - Scavenging, Fighting the Fallen, Training with the Risen that remained in or came to her village, and going home to her beloved Timur every night. But, happiness can never last, as is the way of life - chaos is never long behind a Lightbearer. It had started like any other day - Scavenging for materials... and yet the fallen weren't where she expected - and there were too few of them to not notice the amount... and when she made if back to her village... she would discover why.A fallen raiding party had made their move on the village - led by a Kell and Servitor that were much larger than normal. They had ripped their way through her village, killing any that were in their paths -- Including her beloved Timur... A love lost so suddenly that it caused her to go into a rage that could shake any titan to their core, and she began to cut through the Fallen like a flame through dry grass with her Storm Needles - but, in her grief and anger - she finally tapped fully into the Void. Entropy in a bottle led her to decimate those that stood in her way - and after spearing the Servitor to the ground, and had this Kell at the end of her weapon... she found peace in their death the same way she thought Dionysus would - Peace that allowed her to pick herself back up, and help those that remained bury their dead.During this time - she found herself thinking about the Light - and it's natures..Solar - The light and power of the Sun - one side that heals, the other that harms... An ability to burn through anything in the way while picking up their allies. This was the first element she mastered, learning to heal and burn with the toss of a coin.Arc - True chaos - embracing the storm that rages through their hearts. Energy that collects as they move and is released when they attack - Pure energy that can not be contained or controlled - but directed with enough motive. The second element she mastered wile fighting the fallen - learning how to control electricity and magnetism with nary a thought.Void - Entropy...Gravity - it's all one in the same in the Void. Learning to bend space and time around one's self while pulling power from the infinitely small, and the infinitely large. It took a great loss for her to truly embrace the void - and when she did... she learned to create black holes in her palms - destroying those that stood in the way of her goal. Revenge

Dawning of the New Age
More years would pass between the loss of her love and the starting of a new part of her life - Living in the shadow of the traveler always seemed to pull in the attention of the Fallen...So it was an almost constant fight for life when it came to them. She started discovering artifacts - powerful ones from the golden age deep in the ruins of the cities that surrounded her village - she would turn them into weapons, both for herself and those that lived within the makeshift wall encircling their village. She would continue to work harder, and harder for these people - never wanting another great loss like what that kell could cause to happen again, as long as she could control it.It was during these ages that this village started to become a town - and then a true city... people kept coming - lightbearers had started to call themselves warlords and taking land to protect. She guessed that she could be considered one herself due to just how she chose to protect her land... and yet - the Iron Lords rose and never came for her, in her knowledge at least. With the help of the first speaker - the world finally started to feel as if it were being united. And as they continued to grow - more started to change. There was a wall being constructed - laying the foundation of the Last City of Humanity - she came into contact with some of the most powerful guardians she had met - Lord Shaxx, Zavala, Ikora Rey, and many more helped to lay the bricks that the rest of the city were built upon. And in this - Factions began to fight one another - Nyx tended to not be caugt up in the spats of the 'children' as she called the much younger Risen and members of the City. But - the City continued to boom in population, leading to the fallen taking notice... leading to two of the most dangerous, and loss-filled battles in the early history of the City. These battles being The battle of Six Fronts, and The Battle of Twilight Gap. The City survived thanks to the actions of the guardians that lost their lives that day - and would continue to survive thanks to the actions of the Vanguard, the Speaker, and the Consensus.While... At first she didn't agree with the formation of the Vanguard - she would later come to see them as a great tool for the City's guardians... the vanguard united them in a way no faction could.
Lore Tab 4/6
Time lost
The Vault of Glass, A conflux that delves deep into the past, and future as a Vex training ground. They wanted to put themselves into the past so that they would always exist as an enemy of humanity and keep the golden age from coming to fruition.Once this place was discovered on Venus – Nyx found herself drawn to it… it felt as if it were calling to her – an invisible voice wanting to her explore its depths and stop the vex from spreading all through time.So – against all of her instincts, and all of her self-preservation wanting to scream at her – she entered the vault alone – only hearing the door close behind her with a horrid set of clicking – and that’s when the vex began to appear – it was a fight for life and she had lost access to her hammerspace, leaving her with only her Hand Cannon and her wits to fight off the rest of this damned horde. Shot after shot rang through this vault of bottled time as she watched the poison spread from her thorns and into the vex slowly – she was winning ground over time… and with each room cleared she found herself feeling more comfortable with this fight – Vindication was simply an extension of her – and the blade she carried alongside it pulled from her light and enhanced her strength – her light was only growing stronger as she found engrams the vex were holding in the vault – weapons that hadn’t been seen since the Dark ages, and some that hadn’t been invented yet – she held onto them all as she fought her way deeper into the vault.Eventually – she found herself stuck in a room – the next horde of vex too dense for her to fight her way through quite yet – and she couldn’t tell if only a few hours had passed – or a few days – she was essentially fighting through time itself to get to her goal – the voice that was calling her name. It was within this room that she made one of many mistakes… she dipped her hands into a pool of Radiolaria fluid – unknowing to what it quite was, other than their power source and where their mind was shared… and through a single, small cut that had formed on her hand – this Radiolaria was allowed to enter her bloodstream, and began the gruesome process of attempting to ‘convert’ her into a Vex Unit. It started with her arms, as that’s where it entered at first – the skin turning glossy beneath her armor, slowly converting itself into the same brass that made up the rest of the Vex Units that she had been destroying. It was slow – painful as it spread farther up, and deeper into her flesh. She could feel it corrupting her as she fought through the mass of Vex… she felt that she was close to the end when the Radiolaria in her blood was screaming at her through her new mental link with these Vex – wanting to consume and convert her into their first guardian – this screaming only ended once she killed the last vex in the vault… and when the portal opened to allow her quick exit – she felt a surge of her light kill the last of the fluid in her body… but not before she felt that it had very nearly succeeded in it’s wants. Her hands were now fully converted into vex material – and she could feel that most of her flesh under her new brass-like skin had been converted as well – she felt internal wires connecting through her body – Her legs had been fully converted into Vex Material as well – keeping their shape… it looked as if she were still human at the very least…This semi-conversion led to some… unique abilities presenting themselves over the next few years. While she could still hear the whispers of the Vex Collective in the back of her head – she had enough light to tune them out on her good days. It allowed her to somewhat… track vex when they tried to move through time and attack her and her fireteam. She also learned that she was much… faster when it came to pulling her weapons – quickdraw became a specialty of hers, when she discovered that the Radiolaria had tried to convert her eyes as well, she became something of a sharp-shooter alongside her quickdraw. She would slowly come to understand that she could…dilate time around herself – much like a black hole would if one got too close to it. This allowed her to appear to move at speeds faster than sound at a whim – zipping from one end of the City to the Other in a matter of seconds, instead of the hours it would take any other guardian by foot. This also acts as a form of pseudo-invisibility – allowing her to almost vanish into nothingness at the drop of a pin, and when threatened to the point of near death.

Headlong
War after war, battle after battle, fight after fight - Nyx found herself wearing thin while she continued to fight through life with her light, and her ghost. So, She made a decision. After the Red War was won, and she helped to rebuild the tower - She left a note for the vanguard heads and left... taking only her ship, the Bayonet, her Ghost - and her weapons and armor with her. She abandoned her apartment, leaving behind small keepsakes and memories that she felt were too much to bear... but she did take the shells of a few ghosts that had once belonged to her friends with her.She headed out into the universe that she had helped to protect alongside the other guardians, delving into the unknown so that she may learn from it at last...
Lore Tab 6/6
Empty Handed
And, this is how it was - Years would pass as she moved from planet to planet - exploring what was known and delving into what was unknown. She would leave Sol behind for a few years - exploring the Reef and acting almost like a Guard for the Prison out there - she would help to contain riots for a month or so before moving on to the next local.Exploring Exoplanets and comets became a regular thing - with the occassional trans-mat back to the more habitable places so she could stock back up on food (She learned from an old friend that food was in the strangest of places outside of the System). But eventually - she would work her way back through the planets of the Sol System - where she would land on the surface of Neptune... the city of Neomuna stood proudly, hidden under the clouds of the planet's atmosphere. She was amazed to find that the Ishtar Collective had made it... and survived this planet... she would be confronted by the Cloud Striders - and once she explained that she was a Lightbearer - simply exploring the galaxy that she had tried so hard to protect... and so - she asked to stay there - and help them against their own threats in the Vex.She was allowed to stay - and made friends with the Cloud Striders as they came and went... it was unfortunate that they only lasted 10 years after getting their augmentations... but she helped them, and learned about them as they came and went.It was during this time on Neomuna that she discovered a Power that was not of the light - but instead... was of the Darkness that seemed to prevail the world around them. It was a power that she would come to call strand - Threads of Life that connected them all... she would come to learn that this was a form of... radiation? power? -- given off by an artifact called the Veil that was on the planet - and through her years of living on the planet, she would come to nearly master this power. And yet again, happiness was never meant to last. The Shadow Legion came for the Veil... followed by the now Lightless Osiris and a small troop of guardians that had all stowed away withing the Shadow Legions ships...The Witness was here - and she had a lot to catch up on apparently.

Storm Needles
She was awoken and revived during the Dark Ages, as such, she was forced to forge her own mele weapon until she had the implement to get a gun that worked 100% of the time, instead of jamming every 4 or 7 shots. For this, she forged the Storm Needles – a Baston made of a heavy Titanium rod that she used her light to shape into what she wanted while between settlements. She ended up making 14 of these rods, carrying them in her ‘Backpack’ or ‘Hammer space’ with the assistance of her ghost, Momus
